Condominium complex blaze causes $275,000 in damages

A fire at a condominium complex south of the Strip damaged four units and displaced some residents Friday afternoon.

Clark County firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire at the Paradise Spa condominiums, 9457 Las Vegas Blvd. South, near Serene Avenue, according to county spokeswoman Stacey Welling. Firefighters arriving at the complex at 4:20 p.m. saw flames and smoke.

Four units were damaged by fire. Another three were damaged by smoke and water. Four units were vacant, three were occupied. Four adults and four children were displaced by the blaze. Complex management relocated them to other units.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, which caused an estimated $275,000 in damage, according to Welling.
