Water Cooler: Stripping journalist, Legends soccer, ‘Starry’ dominoes
Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that caught our eye last week.
■ Former Houston journalist/current stripper Sarah Tressler will perform in Las Vegas. If we go, can we write it off as a "professional development" expense?
■ Las Vegas' newest sports team is the Las Vegas Legends of the Professional Arena Soccer League. Gotta love the chutzpah of an expansion team calling itself the "Legends."
■ Good Humor reports a shortage of ice cream treats in the Northeast. If they can't provide a Toasted Almond Bar, the company's name is just a hurtful taunt.
■ An artist re-creates Van Gogh's "Starry Night" with 7,000 dominoes. Next up: "Skittles 'Scream' " and "Dogs Playing Poker" in Milk-Bones.
