Hispanic markets in Las Vegas

In the past five years, Las Vegas has born witness to large changes in the Hispanic supermarket industry. Once strong chains have exited the market, new ones have taken up the mantle and others have quietly and slowly grown, all under the watchful eye of the nearby neon. Ontario, Calif.-based Cardenas, with three Las Vegas locations, has been in Southern Nevada just less than four years. In that time, the chain has risen to be arguably the largest within Las Vegas’ Hispanic supermarket world.
