HIKES
Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, learn about history, geology and nature on an easy, two-mile hike along the Old Spanish Trail; for ages 10 and older. On Wednesday, observe the geology of the Keystone Thrust Fault zone on a moderate, 3.3-mile hike to La Madre Spring; for ages 15 and older. On May 20, walk the Moenkopi Loop on an easy, two-mile hike; for ages 5 and older.

Around the Bend Friends: This group of people 50 and older who are involved in hiking and related social activities plans several hikes each week of various difficulty levels, including an easy-to-moderate social hike on Saturdays. Red Rock Canyon: On Tuesday, view types of arachnids, reptiles, birds and mammals found in Red Rock in a tabletop exhibit from 11 a.m. to noon at the visitor center.
