Toddler who drowned at Lake Mead identified

The toddler who drowned at the Lake Mead National Recreation Center Friday has been identified as Jacob Carter of Henderson.

Jacob , 23 months old, went missing at about 11:15 a.m. Friday. Park rangers searched on land and in the water near the Las Vegas Boat Harbor for about 45 minutes until divers found the body.

The Clark County coroner's office has ruled his death an accidental drowning.
