Another broken Obama promise

Remember the promise that Barack Obama would never, ever, ever, ever or even ev-ah allow lobbyists to "run my White House”?

Scratch that. It's no longer operative, as the Nixon folks would say.

Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank gives us the lowdown here about how Obama bent his own rule into the shape of a pretzel.

"Only in today’s Washington could a president circumvent his own ban on hiring lobbyists by hiring the head of a lobbying firm."
