Red Rock Canyon: On Saturday, go for a moderate, 3-mile hike to First Creek; for ages 10 and older. On Nov. 6, enjoy the views on a moderate, 4.7- to 6-mile hike along White Rock Loop; for ages 10 and older.

Around the Bend Friends: This group of people 50 and older who are involved in hiking and related social activities plans several hikes each week of various difficulty levels, including an easy-to-moderate social hike on Saturdays. OTHER PROGRAMS
Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, learn state history in a tabletop presentation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the visitor center. On Tuesday, learn about the venomous animals that live in Red Rock. On Wednesday, join a workshop to create a piece of jewelry; for ages 12 and older. On Saturday, kids ages 2 to 7 can learn about the wildlife of Red Rock through stories, activities, music and a craft.
