Head-on crash with logging truck kills two Nevada girls

Idaho State Police said two Nevada girls died and another was injured when their car crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a logging truck in northern Idaho.

Police said 17-year-old Alexandria M. Baysinger, the driver, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 7:30 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 95 near De Smet.

Authorities said 12-year-old Amber J. Baysinger was taken to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow where she was later pronounced dead. Fourteen-year-old Andrea Baysinger was treated and released. All the girls are from Carlin, about 20 miles west of Elko in northeastern Nevada. Police didn't provide their relationship.

The driver of the logging truck wasn't injured.

Police said all were wearing seat belts.
