Shooting death of Arizona teen under investigation

The Mohave County Sheriff's office is investigating the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy Sunday.

Spokeswoman Trish Carter said deputies responded at 3:20 p.m. to a home in the 4300 block of North Glen Road in Kingman, Ariz.

She said the shooting appeared to be accidental and remained under investigation. She said the teen, whose name was withheld, died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas of a gunshot wound to the head.
