Horse Racing

TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

By Richard Eng

Post Time 1 p.m.

Race 1 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $38,500, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Bronster - Claimed by Bob Troeger off a decent closing effort; should see a really fast pace to chase.

7 Bullybullybully - Looks like lone early speed; taking the blinkers off to try and slow down a hair.

Long Shot - 6 Vote of Approval

Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $25,300, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Forty Dates - She adores Inglewood and finally reached the winners' circle in last; not much of a class rise.

3 Kiss My Swiss - Broke thru with a huge winning effort in last; the key is if she bounces or repeats.

Long Shot - 6 Marrymeonemoretime

Race 3 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $35,200, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Subpoena the Dress - Mike Mitchell has moved his barn down to Del Mar; kept a few live ones to finish the meet.

1 Sleep Tight - Speed and the rail, a good combo in a turf sprint; will play catch me if you can.

Long Shot - 6 Entabeni

Race 4 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Town Belle - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; adding blinkers on too.

2 On Your Mark - Another dropping from MSW to maiden claiming; like that Rafael Bejarano remains loyal.

Long Shot - 7 Mary Wanna Be

Race 5 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $55,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

8 Madeoftherightstuf - Did everything but win last time; figures to be a heavy, deserving favorite.

2 Nofty - Speed and an inside post in turf sprints can succeed; might try and send full bore tonight.

Long Shot - 4 Kingpin Ryno

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $57,200, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

3 Master Chef - Has run some big figure races without winning; lost to a Bob Baffert colt in Sinai last out.

6 Gator Warrior - Got the job done in debut; Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry to be wary of the longer price horse.

Long Shot - 1 Galleta Monstruo

Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $70,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Unzip Me - Turf sprint specialist returns off a brief respite; nearly perfect in Inglewood, the one to beat.

Long Shot - 2 Separate Forest

Race 8 - 5 furlongs, Purse $29,700, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds

1 Pedlars Way - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; comes grinding along the rail.

8 Grumpy Small Mouth - Speedball did a classic pop and stop in debut; can move forward for hot Peter Miller barn.

Long Shot - 3 Run for Miles
