IGT releases slot game iPhone app for MGM club members

International Game Technology has released its Cleopatra slot game for the iPhone.

The catch is that the application is available only to members of MGM Resorts International's MLife rewards club.

"This nonwager game features the graphics and game play of the casino title," said Alex Kelly, vice president of interactive at Reno-based IGT. "We feel this app will increase brand loyalty to a game widely available throughout MGM Resorts' properties."

This is the first time IGT has made Cleopatra available for a land-based casino operator as a mobile-phone application. The application can also be downloaded to an iPad or iPod Touch, Kelly said.

MLife is the loyalty program offered at 15 MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas, Mississippi and Detroit.
