Religion Notes

First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., will present the Vanguard University of Southern California Concert Choir at 7 p.m. today (384-4554).

Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present the Orpheus Harp Ensemble performing classical and Irish works at 3 p.m. March 27. Admission is free, but goodwill offerings will be accepted (341-7800).

EVENTS

The Presbyterian Women's Rummage Sale will take place 8 a.m.-noon today at First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Proceeds from the rummage sale will go to support mission projects (384-4554).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will continue its Lenten series "The Heart of Christ" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. A soup supper will precede the event at 6 p.m. (732-2052).

MEETINGS

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will have their monthly meeting featuring prayer, formation activities and a Communion service, 10 a.m.-noon March 26 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.

The Secular Franciscans of St. Margaret of Cortona fraternity meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, offers a free reading program for all ages 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays (565-0071).
