Police investigate death of man hit by pickup

Police in Bullhead City, Ariz., are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian fatal accident, police spokeswoman Emily Montague said.

Montague said a 64-year-old local man was struck by a 2004 F-150 pickup as he attempted to cross U.S. Highway 95 near Georgia Lane at 7:50 p.m. Friday. The name of the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Montague said police believe the driver was not at fault and don't intend to issue any citations.
