PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is a picture of our Bootsie, who walks on a leash every day, even in the snow,” wrote Hazel McClendon of Summerlin. “He was adopted three years ago; his mother was a feral cat. In addition to taking walks, he has his own car seat and loves riding in the car.”

“This is LBG, a dog rescued from Mexico, who thinks she’s a panther lurking in the sawgrass at her new home,” wrote Rich Owens of Las Vegas.

Laura Tutunick of Henderson shared this photo of Bear, a 3-year-old chocolate Chihuahua. “He loves to swim, especially off the boat in Lake Mead. Always wear a life jacket!”
