‘Twilight’ star lighting in LV

Twilight" co-star Michael Welch answers a few questions before he and Justin Chon appear at Rio's Crown club Saturday night.

1. What's his favorite Vegas memory?

"Do you ask that question to a lot of people and expect to get honest answers?" Welch cracked. He then joked, "I'm not going to tell you about the time Joey Buttafuoco and I did crank off of Amy Sedaris, while Jeremy Piven, Greg Kinnear and The Roots ran around trying to spank little people on unicycles with a riding crop. That's private."

2. Who's the average fan who goes to something like Saturday's club event?

"I've encountered 'Twilight' moms, authors of fan fiction, haters, lovers, Team Jacob-ers, Team Edward-ers and Twi-hards of all shapes, sizes, colors and creeds from all walks of life. But I don't think I've had the pleasure of getting to know Vegas-clubbing 'Twilight' fanatics. It should be fun."

PORN FANS GO TO HARD ROCK

The bargain of the weekend might be a boutique porn event. I know that sounds weird.

A mere $40 gets you access to the Hard Rock pool for today's XFANZ fan expo, plus entry into a Wasted Space party tonight. (And some people will surely get invited to private parties from there.)

On Thursday, more than 100 porn actresses and mainstream models made it look like a different kind of porn event in Vegas because?

"It's outside," said BlueBirdFilms.com spokesman Tre' Baillie -- who is not in porn, but is one of Vegas' top models.

My favorite overheard on Thursday: "I didn't just wake up one day and become a porn star," starlet Sara Sloan said.

WHERE I'M AT

I'll see you Saturday morning at the Gossy Room at Caesars. Matt Goss is hosting a big-screen showing of the USA-UK World Cup game (free). ... I'll see you at 1 p.m. Sunday at Golden Rainbow's Ribbon of Life HIV fundraiser, starring 300 Strip performers ($25-$200). ... And I'll see some of you at Holly Madison's premiere of "Holly's World" on Sunday night at Planet Hollywood.

QUOTE-UNQUOTE

The great Dave Attell tells me a few funny things about his Strip experiences:

1. "In Vegas, you're here to party. If you're not partying, you're a cop."

2. "When I was really young, I was like, 'I'm gonna die here, but who cares?'"

Attell performs at 9 p.m. today at Treasure Island ($44-$59).
