Man dies in crash on State Route 160
A man died Friday afternoon after he drove through construction barriers into other construction material on state Route 160 near the Interstate 15 interchange, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
The identity of the deceased man was not released by authorities.
Trooper Chelita Rojas said the crash occurred about 4:56 p.m. while the man was headed east on state Route 160. Rojas said the man drove through plastic construction barriers that act as medians.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Rojas said drug and alcohol use were not suspected, but toxicology results are pending.
