THIS WEEK'S BUSINESS PRESS POLL QUESTION

Log onto the Las Vegas Business Press website and let us hear your opinion on this week's question.

The Nevada Vision Stakeholders Group, a study group appointed by state legislators, released a report that proposes to increase taxes and diversify the economy in a push to bring changes that will create a better quality of life for Nevadans over the next 20 years. The group reports that the state needs major investments in transportation infrastructure, including a highway between Las Vegas and Phoenix and high-speed rail systems between Southern Nevada and Southern California and between Reno and Las Vegas. The study leaves to legislators how such major projects could be funded. Gov. Jim Gibbons made a single gesture in hearing of the report's main points -- thumbs down.

Do you agree with the recommendations of the Nevada Vision Stakeholders Group?
