HIKES

Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, a moderate 4-mile hike. On Tuesday, bring your dog for a moderate 3-mile hike to Calico Hills. Also Tuesday, a 5-mile strenuous hike with some scrambling over Gateway Saddle. On Friday, a moderate, 3-mile full moon hike into Pine Creek Canyon. Flashlights are required. Also Friday, a 3.5- mile hike through Echo Canyon. On Saturday, an easy 1/2-mile hike through Corn Creek. On Sunday, a moderate, 6-mile hike to explore La Madre Spring (515-5367).

OTHER PROGRAMS

Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, a 20- minute program on predators of Southern Nevada in the visitor center ongoing between 1-3 p.m. On Tuesday, a canyon clean up project. Also Tuesday, an interactive program for 2-8 year olds about cactus (515-5367).
