Share the love for Valentine’s Day

With the holidays tucked safely behind us, Valentine's Day is the next greeting card moment. But this year, romantics that we are, we want to look beyond candy and flowers to capture the secrets of true love.

To accomplish this ambitious goal, we're asking readers in long-term relationships to share what they do to show their love and grow as a couple after the honeymoon is over. What are the best ways to keep a relationship flourishing when times are hard or boring or just routine? What keeps a partner in mind even when apart?

Send us your thoughts in 200 words or less and we will publish the ones that touch our hearts in the Living section and online on Feb. 14.

Mail your stories about love to Lasting Love, Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125. Or e-mail them to pmorgan@reviewjournal.com with "Lasting Love" in the subject line. They also can be faxed to 383-4676 or dropped by the Review-Journal office at 1111 W. Bonanza Road during regular daytime office hours. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Jan. 25.
