WATER COOLER

Here are a few things in popular culture that we've been talking about lately.

* Two Southern Nevada topless clubs park their stripper-mobiles, which featured women pole-dancing in a transparent box on a truck traveling up and down the Strip. On the upside, Detroit automakers are thrilled to discover a gas guzzler people might actually want to buy.

* The Las Vegas Locomotives clinch a spot in the inaugural United Football League championship game. Also known as the Sominex Apathy Bowl.

* Opponents of President Barack Obama reportedly start sporting bumper stickers saying "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8." ("Let his days be few; and let another take his office ...") Obama supporters consider rebutting with bumper stickers of Psalm 32:9 ("Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding ... ") but decide against slandering horses and mules.
