Second murder-suicide victim identified

The second of two people who were found dead earlier this week in a southeast valley home from an apparent murder-suicide was identified this morning by the Clark County coroner’s office as 40-year-old Eric Bray of Las Vegas.

The coroner’s office said Bray died from shooting himself in a suicide. The office added that 29-year-old Sarah Wayson, who was also found dead in the home Monday afternoon, died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

Las Vegas police said Bray and Wayson were dating.

Police said a housekeeper alerted them about 1 p.m. to the bodies in the home at 1292 Sun Village Ave., near Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.

Homicide Sgt. William Scott said police found Wayson’s body downstairs on a couch. Bray’s body was found upstairs.

Scott speculated the shootings occurred either Friday or Saturday.
