Police: Two who posed as firefighters in theft sought

Las Vegas police have identified two men who are accused of posing as firefighters earlier this month to steal two flat-screen televisions from an apartment complex.

Police are asking the public for help in finding 48-year-old Jay Campanile and 26-year-old William Moyer.

The two are accused of dressing up in Clark County Fire Department T-shirts and carrying radios into the workout room of an apartment complex near Cambridge Street and Flamingo Road, near Maryland Parkway, on Jan. 9.

They left with the televisions, which were hanging on the wall, and drove away in a burgundy or dark red Chevrolet or Ford pickup.

Anybody with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Las Vegas police emergency number at 828-3111 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
