Victim, suspect identified in Wal-Mart parking lot stabbing death

The Henderson man stabbed to death outside a Wal-Mart on Wednesday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Oscar Hernandez.

The 24-year-old was stabbed several times after bumping a shopping cart into Jose Torres-Rodriguez's car, Las Vegas police said, at 5198 Boulder Highway, near Nellis Boulevard.

Police believe the men fought before Hernandez was stabbed. He died later at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

Torres-Rodriguez, 57, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder with a deadly weapon. He wa being held without bail.
