Police were called to an apartment at 3675 Cambridge Street about 7:10 a.m. They discovered the woman dead from what appeared to be "blunt force trauma" to her head and body, Roberts said.

He said that as of Sunday afternoon, police did not have any suspects, witnesses or motives in the slaying.
