Patrol identifies crash victim

The man who died when his sport utility vehicle overturned Friday morning on state Route 160 just east of Pahrump has been identified as 60-year-old Everett W. Quinn.

Quinn, of Pahrump, was driving north on the highway in a Ford Explorer when the vehicle drifted into the median about 9:40 a.m., according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

He steered sharply to the right, causing the vehicle to overturn and eject him from the vehicle.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the patrol.
