WOMEN'S GROUPS

The Southern Hills Republican Women's Club will have a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Buckman's Grille at Revere Golf Club, 2600 Hampton Road in Henderson. LECTURE

Brooke Davis Anderson, director and curator of the Contemporary Center at the American Folk Art Museum, will present a lecture titled "Through the Lengs of Language -- A Visual Journey Through Outsider Art." The event, co-sponsored by R&R Partners Foundation, will be at 11 a.m. May 29 at Opportunity Village, 6300 W. Oakey Blvd. Tours of the Opportunity Village campus and the Art Enrichment program will be available following the lecture. Admission is free, however reservations are required by Sunday (880-4096).

FAMILY CLASSES

University Medical Center's Family Resource Center offers many classes throughout the month at 1120 Shadow Lane. Appointments are required (383-2229).

SINGLE PARENTS

A new social networking group for single parents in Las Vegas and Henderson is being formed that will offer family-friendly activities (436-5204).
