The Fresno Grizzlies scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning to erase a 2-0 Las Vegas lead and went on to an 8-4 victory over the 51s in a Pacific Coast League game Sunday at Fresno, Calif.

Scott McClain socked a two-run homer for the Grizzlies in the fifth inning, Alfonzo led off the sixth with a home run and Fresno bumped its lead to 8-2 in the seventh on four hits, a walk and a wild pitch. Travis Ishikawa had an RBI double and Alfonzo a run-scoring single.

Alfonzo finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Ivan Ochoa was 3-for-5.

51s shortstop Angel Chavez went 3-for-4, and Terry Tiffee added two hits, including an RBI double in the first.
