Give loved ones a meal for Christmas

More than half of consumers (53.8 percent) say they want a gift card for Christmas, according to the National Retail Federation. So go ahead, oblige your family and friends with a gift card from their favorite restaurant. Or, if you want to be a little sneaky, get them one for your favorite restaurant and hope for an invite. Look for them at restaurants or in the checkout line at local supermarkets. Some restaurants reward you for being so thoughtful, too. Participating Dairy Queens give you a free Blizzard for purchasing a $20 gift card.
