Loft living comes to Summerlin
C2 Lofts in Summerlin is celebrating its official grand opening this weekend, welcoming the first group of residents to the master-planned community's first loft development.
Located within the urban core village of Summerlin Centre, C2 Lofts is a 36-acre development offering professionally furnished and decorated models. The first of several loft buildings opens this weekend with more than 20 residents moving in.
"C2 Lofts is the first authentic loft development in Summerlin and also in Las Vegas," said Erika Geiser, vice president of marketing for C2 Lofts. "The feedback we are receiving from our first residents is phenomenal. These are the first real lofts to be unveiled in Summerlin and the entire development is going to be unique to all of Southern Nevada. It is a relaxed and convenient lifestyle, with on-site and nearby amenities designed for people who value their time, but would prefer something more unique and exciting than they will find in a typical condo or high-rise development.
"Our first completed building serves as a showpiece for the exciting development C2 Lofts has planned for the future," Geiser said. C2 Lofts is located off West Charleston Boulevard, just west of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway. The lofts are about one mile from the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa and a short drive or bike ride from the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Priced from the mid-$300,000s to more than $1 million, more than a dozen one-, two- and three-story designs are available, ranging from 900 to 3,300 square feet. Many of the lofts will offer mountain or city light views. Selected live/work designs will enable the buyer to own an upscale specialty retail shop on the lower floor of his or her loft.
C2 Lofts features minimalist styling highlighted by exposed ductwork, expansive windows and ceiling heights that range from 10 to 12 feet in the single-story plan, and up to 20 to 22 feet in the two- and three-story lofts. Buyers have a myriad of design options in creating their own space.
Each of the lofts includes upscale included features and amenities such as stainless-steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, walk-in closets in the owner's suite with custom closet organizer, vessel sink with Zodiaq countertop in the powder room, Kohler plumbing fixtures and security systems. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the common areas.
Buyers at C2 Lofts also have opportunities to customize their units with luxuries such as fireplaces, brick wall treatments and various flooring and countertop options. On-site retail will allow residents to walk downstairs for a morning cup of coffee, pick up their dry cleaning or enjoy lunch with a neighbor. All residents will have personal parking spaces, as well as private storage space inside the gated subterranean parking area.
