The Jackpot Speakers Toastmasters Club meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. (647-8038).

STAMP CLUB

The Southern Nevada Stamp Club meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Friday of each month at Atria Sutton, 3185 E. Flamingo Road (839-1694).

MERCHANT MARINES

The High Rollers Chapter of the American Merchant Marine Veterans will meet at 11 a.m. Friday at the Moose Red Rock Lodge, 4970 W. Charleston Blvd. All merchant marine veterans and nonveterans, members of the Navy armed guard and Army transport service who served on ships, are eligible to attend (732-1369).

BETA SIGMA PHI

CITIZENS FOR PATIENT DIGNITY

The National Federation of Checkers Foundation is sponsoring a checker tournament at the Plaza, 1 Main St., at 9 a.m. daily Saturday through July 27 (361-8780).
