Lennar continues year-end sales event

Lennar continues its year-end sales event today through Sunday. The home builder will offer incentives and price reductions ranging from $20,000 to $200,000, depending on the community, and financing opportunities on select inventory homes.

Welcome Home Centers will extend hours today and Sunday, staying open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. To qualify for special offers, buyers must use Lennar's mortgage group, Universal American Mortgage Co., and close by Nov. 21, according to Jeff Roos, regional president of Lennar Southwest.

"We're closing the books soon on 2007, and to help us clear some of our existing inventory, we worked out some new incentives with our lender and priced our homes to sell, giving shoppers confidence in a new home purchase," Roos said. "Already our teams have done a tremendous job of clearing out inventory, and this weekend is our last opportunity for the fiscal year to put people in their dream homes."

Lennar homes range from the $200,000s to the $600,000s. The builder includes upgrades, appliances and amenities in the price of the home.

"We asked thousands of our customers which features and upgrades they wanted most in their homes and then we simply included them," Roger Seaholm, senior vice president of sales at Lennar's Las Vegas division, said of the year-end event. "By simplifying what we purchased and provided to our customers, we were able to work with some of the nation's most respected name-brand suppliers of appliances, lighting, flooring and more to create some incredible business relationships. And because of our simple approach to doing business, we are able to purchase these coveted items at an incredible price - and then pass along the value to our customers."

"Our 'Logic of Lennar' philosophy transcends beyond what we include in our homes. It also speaks to the lengths our company has gone through to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process," he said. "We look at every aspect of the home-buying and homeownership process and determine the simplest path for our customers and then we execute on that process."
