Catch Kittie at University Theatre

Their latest disc is titled "Funeral for Yesterday," and it's no wonder that the gals in Kittie would want to bid adieu to the past. Unfairly dismissed as a teen metal novelty upon the release of the band's gold-selling 2000 debut, "Spit," Kittie has weathered several lineup changes en route to becoming a tighter, more confident sounding unit that's buried plenty of former peers in the heavy-metal litter box.
