‘Iron Man’ shooting at Caesars Palace

Rolling, rolling, rolling ... Those big-screen cameras keep on rolling, as "Iron Man" checks in, "The Return" and "Yonkers Joe" check out and "Baby-O" stays in the groove.

Starting with the newcomer, "Iron Man" -- inspired by the Marvel Comics character -- brings "Swingers" alumnus Jon Favreau back to Las Vegas. This time, however, he's directing a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr. (in the title role), Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges.

Caesars Palace serves as today's location, with scenes expected to film at the front drive and in the lobby and casino.

"Return" to sender: "The Return," meanwhile, is scheduled to wrap today, after shooting airplane and motor vehicle interiors -- along with a special-effects hurricane -- at the new DreamVision studio complex. "The Illusionist's" Neil Burger directs Tim Robbins, Rachel McAdams and Michael Peña as Iraq war veterans sharing a cross-country odyssey.

"Baby-O" talk: In the second full week of a monthlong shoot, "Baby-O" continues production at multiple locations, including Just Jazz, Rampart Casino and luxury homes. (Last week's locations ranged from the Riviera to Red Rock Canyon.)

The movie focuses on the romance between a fading talent agent (David Proval, who co-scripted) and a new-to-town jazz singer. She's played by Theresa Russell, but director Charlie Matthau reports that Russell's singing voice will be provided by real-life singer Sue Raney.

Bonkers for "Yonkers": The drama "Yonkers Joe," about a dice hustler (Chazz Palminteri) reconnecting with his mentally challenged son (Tom Guiry), continues shooting through Wednesday at the Cannery and the Tonic Hair Salon. After leaving Las Vegas, the production heads to Southern California, New York and Atlantic City.

"Love" is all you need: CNN's "Larry King Live" originates from The Mirage's Beatles Revolution Lounge at 6 p.m. Tuesday as part of a one-year anniversary for Cirque du Soleil's Beatles-themed "Love."

King reportedly saw (and loved) "Love" after it opened last year, but needed an appropriate angle for his show. The anniversary celebration -- which brings Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and widows Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison to a dedication honoring the late John Lennon and George Harrison -- is it. Cirque founder Guy Laliberté also joins the interview.

Casting about: Locally based Robin Hood Films will hold an open casting call from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Henderson's Galleria mall. About 30 speaking roles are available in the thriller "Fallen Angels," which stars Michael Madsen and begins production in September. More details are available online at www.robinhoodfilms.com.
