Meal, dance mark Mother’s Day

Celebrate Mother's Day early at a catered dinner and dance from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday in the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.

Popular standards will be played by the Carl Grove Combo, which includes tenor saxophonist Grove, trumpet and flugelhorn player Dick Guider, drummer Bob Grundy, keyboardist Peter Urquidi and singer Marsha K.

The buffet dinner will be catered by At Your Service Catering.

The program is presented by the Performing Arts Division of the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services.
