How do international students see Americans? — VIDEO

Living in Las Vegas, we’re all exposed to several different nationalities visiting our little oasis of a city as tourists. But what do you get when you ask foreign students how they distinguish Americans from other nationalities?

An assortment of answers, apparently.

Uploaded by Youtube user sw yoon, this 5-minute video interviews international students in South Korea about how they are able to tell Americans apart from other people.

The students come up with a plethora of answers, some of them expected and others hilariously surprising.

They start off with mainstream stereotypes that seem almost obvious. They talk about accents, fashion, weight and even eating habits.

But things get exciting when others have answers that you wouldn’t expect. My personal favorite?

“If you talk to American people, they smell like freedom.”

You’re darn right we do.

Check out the full video below to enjoy all of their different answers.
