SAVANNAH, Ga. — A Georgia police officer questioning a suspect at a gas station was dragged when the man being stopped didn’t want to take the keys out of the ignition.

“Real fast, just for safety reasons, I’m just going to pull the keys out of the car, alright?” the officer said.

“I’m calling my brother first, sir,” the driver said.

According to the Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, the man was accused of writing bad checks.

After refusing to follow the officer’s instructions, the man speeds off in his car, officer pinned to the door.
