Author highlights Las Vegas Metro Chamber’s annual Preview event

The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Preview Las Vegas event Friday at the Cox Pavilion at UNLV.

Jim Clifton, chairman and CEO of Gallup and author of the book “The Coming Jobs War,” is scheduled as the keynote speaker. Clifton will discuss what U.S. cities and regions need to do to create and sustain jobs to lead the global economy.

Clifton will discuss the idea that “today’s explorers migrate to the cities that are most likely to maximize innovation and entrepreneurial talents and skill,” he said in a statement.

Also scheduled to speak are Rossi Ralenkotter, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; Robert Lang, UNLV director of policy analysis group Brookings Mountain West; and Jeremy Aguero, principal analyst with local research firm Applied Analysis.

Preview also includes a trade show of more than 120 exhibitors.
