The National Association of Home Builders International Builders' Show will return to the Las Vegas for four years after a two-year absence, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced Wednesday.
It's the first time the show will be held in Las Vegas for four consecutive years.
The International Builders' Show, which runs through today at Las Vegas Convention Center, attracts 45,000 to 50,000 industry professionals and is the largest annual light construction trade show in the world. The show is projected to generate a nongaming economic impact of more than $250 million for Las Vegas over the next four years.
"We are delighted to be back in Las Vegas, and with the construction industry on the mend, we expect to have a great show," NAHB chairman Barry Rutenberg said.
The 2014 show, scheduled for Feb. 4-6, will coincide with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, expanding the offerings of cutting-edge designs, technologies and products.
Design and Construction Week, as the new show will be called, is expected to attract 75,000 builders, remodelers, developers, architects, designers and other industry professionals.
