14 players remain in WSOP Main Event

Russian gambler Andrey Pateychuk was eliminated in 15th place in the World Series of Poker’s Main Event Tuesday, sending the tournament into a more than one-hour break.

The quest for one of nine seats at the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Main Event final table will resume at 4:30 p.m. for the ESPN television cameras, which will show the event on 30-minute delay starting at 5 p.m. on ESPN2.

Pateychuk, a 21-year-old college student, was the youngest player left in the field. He earned $478,174 for his finish.

The Main Event prize pool is $64.5 million and the winner will earn $8.7 million. Eight of the nine final table participants will earn in excess of $1 million in prize money.
