Fertitta Entertainment names government relations exec
Fertitta Entertainment LLC, the parent company of Station Casinos LLC, on Friday named Mike Sloan senior vice president of government relations.
Sloan, a gaming industry veteran, spent 20 years as senior vice president and general counsel with Mandalay Resort Group, and has served on the board of the Nevada Resort Association.
"We are extremely pleased to have Mike join our team," Fertitta Entertainment Chairman and CEO said Frank Fertitta III said. "Mike is one of the most well-respected and effective executives in our industry and we look forward to the contributions he will make to our company."
Most recently, Sloan has provided gaming and government-relations consulting services for a number of casino companies in Nevada. Sloan's additional experience includes several appointments to the Citizen Advisory Committee on Tax Policy, and as an employer trustee of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union Health and Welfare Fund and the Local 226 Culinary and Bartenders Pension Plan.
