Contractor to pour foundation for time share tower on April 25

Penta Building plans to pour the concrete foundation for Grandview Resort's 20-story time share tower on April 25, the first tower to be built there since 2009.

The time share at 9940 Las Vegas Blvd. South near South Point, is being developed by Florida-based Berkley Group, with 10 towers planned for the 27-acre site. So far, more than 1,500 units have been completed.

Penta, general contractor on Grandview since construction began in 2003, will start pumping 4,600 cubic yards of concrete at 2 a.m. using two pumps and two belts. The pour is expected to last about 10 hours.
