Gasoline prices in valley, state move past $3 per gallon
Gasoline prices in Nevada officially passed the $3-a-gallon mark on Thursday, AAA reported.
The average price of a gallon of regular self-serve unleaded gasoline was $3.014 on Friday, up from $3.004 on Thursday, AAA said in its Daily Fuel Gauge report.
The Friday price is up 4.6 percent from $2.879 a gallon a month ago and up 11.6 percent from $2.701 a gallon a year ago, AAA said.
The average per-gallon price for regular gasoline in Nevada was $3.054 on Friday. The national average per-gallon price was $2.977.
