Brain institute to be discussed at luncheon

Larry Ruvo, son of Lou Ruvo, for whom the under-development Lou Ruvo Brain Institute in downtown Las Vegas is named, will speak Thursday at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce's luncheon.

The institute is being created with the hope of attracting top physicians focused on the fight to eradicate memory and mobility disorders. Ruvo will share his thoughts on the project.

Seating is limited. Registration and networking will start at 11:30 am; the lunch and program will follow at noon. Cost is $55 for chamber members with a prepaid guaranteed reservation; $70 for nonmembers and walk-ins. Call 735-1616 for information.
