Las Vegas office buildings on Oct. 12 auction list

Office buildings in Las Vegas will be among more than 40 properties being sold in an auction by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. of foreclosed commercial real estate on Oct. 12 in Las Vegas.

Commercial properties in Las Vegas include the Montecito Town Center office building on Grand Montecito Parkway and five commercial pads. Other properties in the auction, including commercial land, residential land and single-family lots, can be found at www.johndixon.com.

The auction will be held at Spring Hill Suites, 2989 Paradise Road, across from the Las Vegas Convention Center. It follows another FDIC auction on Oct. 11 in Phoenix.

The auction will enable the FDIC to put properties back in the private sector, where they can provide opportunities for growth and expansion, said John Dixon, president of Marietta, Ga.-based John Dixon & Associates.
