Las Vegas Strip gets first bitcoin ATM

The Strip received its first bitcoin ATM this week.

Budding bitcoin company Coin Cloud installed the machine — dubbed the “Bitcoin Bodega” — inside the Viva Vegas souvenir shop, at 3735 Las Vegas Blvd. South The shop sits near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon, where a reported 100,000 people walk by every day.

The Bitcoin Bodega is open every day of the week from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
