Magazine publishing veteran tapped as editor of Luxury Las Vegas

Leslie Frisbee, an 18-year veteran of magazine publishing, digital and new media, has been selected as new editor-in-chief of Luxury Las Vegas magazine.

Frisbee has been editor for multiple magazines focusing on luxury lifestyle, fitness, entertainment and tourism, including iO Magazine, Las Vegas Magazine, VEGAS2GO and Diamond Cake Magazine. She also worked as an on-air health and fitness expert for a nationally syndicated morning show. Prior to moving to Las Vegas more than eight years ago, Frisbee worked in Chicago as vice president of content for Onsite Network, a sports and entertainment television and Internet network.

“Leslie has a wealth of knowledge about the affluent and aspirational lifestyle that interests Luxury Las Vegas readers, and she is also a proficient editor with strong organizational and management skills,” said Hal DeKeyser, interim editor of Luxury Las Vegas and director of product development for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, who oversees content for R-J affiliate publications including Luxury Las Vegas, Las Vegas Business Press, Best of Las Vegas and El Tiempo Las Vegas. “Leslie is very well-known and connected to the Las Vegas community, so she will be able to hit the ground running.”

“I have been a longtime fan and reader of Luxury Las Vegas magazine. I am thrilled to be part of such a talented team, and I look forward to working with them in taking the publication and its online presence to the next level,” Frisbee said.

Frisbee follows Beth Schwartz, who left in January, after more than a decade with Luxury Las Vegas.
