BEVERAGE

Wirtz Beverage Group appointed Scott Blazek as its senior vice president. Wirtz Beverage Nevada, with offices in Las Vegas and Reno, is a statewide distributor of fine wine, spirits and beer brands. Blazek will be responsible for leading the company’s statewide sales and marketing teams. Blazek comes from Heineken USA where he was a member of the company’s national executive management team.

ENGINEERING

Chris McElhone joined Henderson Engineers Inc. McElhone is an electrical engineer who comes to the company with more than five years of experience and specializes in low voltage and power design.

FINANCE

Clark County Credit Union named Josh Haldeman vice president of commercial lending. Haldeman will work to develop and grow a commercial and industrial lending culture within the credit union. He brings 10 years of banking experience with him. He most recently served as a vice president at Bank of America where he managed a large and diverse commercial portfolio in excess of $70 million.

Meadows Bank named Jeannie Baldwin as its vice president, business development officer. Baldwin will open the bank’s new SBA production office in Dallas. Meadows Bank also welcomed Scott Herbstman as a courier with central operations/ customer service requests and Nancy Alexander as an imaging document clerk with loan operations.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Anthony Caruth joined Vegas PBS as a graphic artist. He will provide graphic design support for print media, web, social media platforms and on-air productions. Caruth had worked as a multimedia designer for Ardyss International, a health and wellness marketing company.

LAW

JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, added attorney Gerald I. Gillock. Gillock will be based in the JAMS Las Vegas Resolution Center and will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including business/commercial, employment, family law, health care, insurance, personal injury/torts, products liability, professional liability and real property. Retired Judge David Wall also joined the JAMS Las Vegas Resolution Center. He will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including business/commercial, construction defect, education/schools, employment, entertainment and sports, estate/probates/trusts, insurance, personal injury/torts, professional liability and real property.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

The Firm Public Relations &Marketing promoted Lauren Sasso to public relations specialist and hired Annie Waggoner as a public relations coordinator. Sasso has been integral in implementing clients’ communications campaigns, with a focus on media relations, marketing and special events. Before her promotion, Sasso was an assistant public relations specialist. Waggoner started as an intern.

REAL ESTATE

Soozi Jones Walker of Commercial Executives Real Estate Services has been appointed a presidential liaison to 2015 President Mark Macek. Walker has been active in Nevada real estate for more than 30 years. She is the president and broker of Commercial Executives and specializes in the leasing and sale of commercial real estate. She is a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute and has served on many national committees including chair of professional standards and serves on finance and governance. She is a former Nevada real estate commissioner and also serves as an expert witness along with her other real estate activities.
