Town & Country Bank is looking for a new chief executive officer, after the recent departure of James Brewer, the Las Vegas-based bank said Friday.
The community bank, with four branches in Southern Nevada, also has openings for a chief financial officer and a chief credit officer.
Brewer, who was named CEO of Town & Country in January, replaced Diane Fearon as president and CEO of Bank of George, a Las Vegas-based community bank with two branches and $111.5 million in local deposits.
Before his arrival in Las Vegas, Brewer spent two years as chief executive at Goldwater bank in Scottsdale, Ariz., another community bank and region recovering from the recession and soured real estate market.
Messages left with Brewer at Bank of George were not returned.
Phil Burns, CEO and principal in West Point Bancorp Inc., owner of Town & Country, has taken over as interim CEO. Town & Country Banks has assets of about $170 million, and is the largest of the four banks that comprise West Point Bancorp, a $400 million bank holding company in West Point, Neb. All banks, including three in Nebraska, operate independently.
