Traffic lanes to be reduced for sign installation near airport
One approach to McCarran International Airport will be partially closed as installation begins on new electronic signs.
One of two right turn lanes from eastbound Tropicana Avenue onto southbound Paradise Road will be blocked off, as well as a stretch of one lane on Paradise, starting this morning. The change will last until next month.
Other portions of road will be blocked off through October until work on the new signs is finished.
Because eight domestic airlines will move to Terminal 3 next June, along with all the international ones, the new signs will tell passengers where to go. Until now, all domestic airlines have been stationed in Terminal 1.
