Armed man sought in North Las Vegas shooting
North Las Vegas police were searching for a shooting suspect whom they considered armed and dangerous.
Arthur Ford, 59, shot and wounded a 50-year-old man early Sunday morning at a family gathering in a home on the 1500 block of West Hammer Lane, near Ann Road and Camino Al Norte, police said.
The two men had been arguing when Ford pulled a semiautomatic handgun and shot the other man once, police said. The victim was treated at University Medical Center and released.
After the shooting, Ford drove away in a black SUV. He is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
